After years of being relegated to the sidelines of the health care continuum, behavioral health is finally getting the attention it has long deserved. Much of this has to do with healthcare payment reform, which is challenging all specialties to  improve quality of care while decreasing costs. It has become clear to many that lapses in behavioral health care lead directly to the breakdown of physical health – and associated high costs.

Behavioral health providers and payers are responding to the changing environment in novel ways. Our panelists will address the impact of Medicaid reform, payer incentives, patient engagement, integrated care, and technology interventions during this wide-ranging discussion.
