Given advances in technology over the past decade, there’s been an explosion in the ability to easily collect and store personal data. For healthcare, there can be tremendous value in collecting this data, but there may also be concerns over privacy. Given the ease of access in identifying personal medical records, will there soon be pushback from patients? Changes in HIPAA regulations? And what larger changes might this bring for the industry? Our panel will discuss these questions and how to best balance the potential of this new data with patient concerns.
