Celebrates the most innovative and exciting health start-ups in the New York area
New York, NY (November 10, 2021) – New York City Health Business Leaders (NYCHBL) today opened applications for its NYC Digital Health 100, a list of the top 100 start-ups in the New York metropolitan area that are making an impact in healthcare.
Now in the third year of publication, the NYC Digital Health 100 includes the most promising innovators in digital health. For the first time, NYCHBL has expanded the selection criteria to include companies outside the five boroughs operating within the New York metropolitan area. In addition to reviewing all organizations in NYCHBL’s dynamic database of digital health companies in NY, NYCHBL has also opened applications and individuals can nominate companies for consideration here.
“NYCHBL was founded to spotlight and support the innovative organizations making a real difference in healthcare in NY,” said Bunny Ellerin, CEO and cofounder, NYCHBL. “With the recent explosive growth in digital health in NY and beyond, we are delighted to extend the list beyond NYC to include organizations in the greater New York region.”
Companies will be selected based on a number of factors, including but not limited to company funding, size, revenue, what problem the company solves in healthcare, recent successes and diversity and equity. The list will highlight not only those organizations of scale, but also companies with differentiated offerings, underrepresented sectors and bold ideas.
Last year, companies including Cedar, Ro and Noom were featured on the list. For 2022, the submission deadline is December 3, 2021 and companies will be notified by January 21, 2022 if they make the cut. The list will be released in conjunction with NYCHBL’s 2022 New York Healthcare Innovation Report, NYCHBL’s annual review of the trends driving healthcare in New York.
